Karen Garrett de Luna is a multi-disciplinary artist. Her passions include photography, dance, and aerial acrobatics. She holds a MAA in Visual Arts from Emily Carr University of Art + Design (Vancouver, BC) and BAs in Dance and Mathematics from the University of Washington (Seattle, WA). Karen currently resides in West Seattle where she grows vegetables, meditates, and works on making the invisible visible.
Currently she has two photographic works in The Visual Metric at the Griffin Museum of Photography in Boston. The show opens 4 August 2017. She will be performing in THE YEAR: 12 artists / 12 Acts at The Factory 19 January 2018. Upcoming aerial performances include Silver Foxes at Versatile Arts 16–17 March 2018.
