Karen Garrett de Luna is a multi-disciplinary artist. Her passions include photography, dance, and aerial acrobatics. An artist of mixed Filipino and European descent, de Luna’s work combines diverse materials and disciplines which reflect the hybridity in her heritage, education and pursuits. She holds a MAA in Visual Arts from Emily Carr University of Art + Design (Vancouver, BC) and BAs in Dance and Mathematics from the University of Washington (Seattle, WA). Karen currently resides in West Seattle where she grows vegetables, meditates, and works on making the invisible visible.

Upcoming performances include a static trapeze solo in the Silver Foxes’ 7th showcase, Growing Pains.
